HM Queen Elizabeth II, A hand written pen and ink letter directed to 'Monty'. Mrs Montaudon Smith was affectionately known as Monty by the Royal family and she was Queen Elizabeth II and Princess Margaret's French teacher. The letter is thanking Monty for good wishes for her birthday, also enquiring if she would like a seat in the Mall for the Coronation procession.
