A worksplate, NORTH BRITISH LOCOMOTIVE Co, HYDE PARK WORKS, 23829, 1929, from a GWR 5700 Class 0-6-0PT No 5711 built in February 1929. A long time Merthyr engine, it was withdrawn from there in January 1958 and scrapped at Caerphilly Works. Cast brass, 7¾" diameter, the front repainted. (Postage Band: C)
