marked for John Macdonald, Edinburgh 1802, plain body with acanthus leaf capped spout and fruitwood handle and knop on cover, engraved to the front with the coat of arms and motto of Admiral Adam Duncan, first Viscount Duncan (1731-1804), victor of the Battle of Camperdown (1797); the arms surmounted by a Viscount’s coronet and supporting a representation of the Cross for the Russian Imperial Order of Saint Alexander Nevsky, teapot cover engraved with crest and motto -- 11in.
