An early 19c double fusee bracket clock, the 20cm diam. white enamel dial signed Ritchie, Arbroath and having Roman numerals and nicely decorated matched steel hands. The double fusee movement has an anchor escapement and strikes on a bell, and is contained in a round topped mahogany case with line inlay below the dial, arched brass frets, and lion carrying handles to the sides, and brass ball feet. The clock stands 40cm h.

The movement is complete and clean and runs and strikes. The dial and glass are in good condition as is the case, with just slight chipping to the edge of the back door.
