Boer War period Officers Campaign water heater/shaving companion - very rare & unusual item. Hallmarked in several places for Drew & Sons (S.S.D.E.D.) London, 1901. Gilt interior, the item includes a removeable soap dish - it is a heavy silver item - quite lovely in the way it all fits together, an amazing piece of a silversmith's art. Weighs 23.5oz.
