A group of eight Burmese hill tribe jewellery and facial ornaments:
1. two Kachin tribe amber ear plugs, early 20th century, (9.8 cm 3.7 cm long);
2. a single faceted black stone bead, (5.7 cm long);
3. three bone necklace decorations, Shan tribe, with finely incised cross-hatched decoration, the largest 15 cm long
4. two carved wooden plallus-form fertility neck-dress ornaments, Shan tribe, the larger (10.4 cm long) with etched calligraphy to both sides, the other plain.
* Condition: - Amber ear plugs: the larger example with a large chip to one end and a smaller chip to the opposing, pointed end. The small example with a large flake from one end. - Black bead: Small chip to top edge and three other smaller chips to the lower part of the bead. - Bone decorations: Good condition - Fertility ornaments: Both in good condition.
