Great Britain: Krnka Repeating Rifle Company Limited, £10 shares, 188[90], #82, brown. Registered 1888. Invented by Czech gunsmith Sylvester Krnka and adopted by the Russian military in 1869. This company was formed to trial the rifle in England but due to patent and other problems the few examples produced were unsuccessful and the company was liquidated in 1892. VF and rare. First time at auction.
