The Assizes and crime. Three broadsheets printed in Cornwall. 'Sentences, Tried at the Lent Assizes, Holden at Launceston, on Thursday March 27th, 1817,' tall folio slip sheet listing prisoners in both Lanceston and Bodmin Gaols, with their charges and final sentences, 400mm x 120mm, with a small triangular section torn from the bottom RHS, Thomas, Printer, Penzance, [1817]. 'Bodmin Cornwall Assizes. The sentences of the prisoners that were tried at the Cornwall Summer Assizes, which commenced on Monday last, before Mr. Justice Burrough and Mr. Justice Richardson,' tall folio sheet, 323mm x 120mm, laid down, Stephens, Printer, Penryn, [n.d. but circa 1820s]. 'The Last Dying Speech and Confession of Rebecca Edwards, who was Executed at Monmouth, on Friday the 16th of August, 1822,' a tall slip sheet, 325mm x 96mm, half being a four-line stanza over one column poem, Stephens, Printer, Penryn, [1822].
