The miniature is mounted under glass and has not been removed for inspection. The paint surface shows no obvious damage and the colours appear reasonably strong, although they are likely to have faded somewhat over time. The mount shows wear including tarnishing and fine surface scratching throughout. The glass shows fine surface scratching across the surface, but no obvious chips or cracks.
