PAIR OF FISCHER BUDAPEST RETICULATED VASES. An interesting pair of late 19thc Fischer vases, with a hexagonal tapering neck, reticulated handles and sections of the body, and painted with a floral design to the neck and body. Impressed and painted marks, 'Fischer Budapest, 964. 32cms high. (2).
One vase, rim quite worn and also wear to the gilding on the handles and body, small crack just inside the rim, small chip to the side of the base and nibble, some wear to the gilding around the base and some crazing in places.
The other, wear to the gilding of the rim, and also to the handles and body in places, small fine cracks to the handle possibly from manufacture, small chip to the side of the rim and wear to the gilding around the rim, some crazing in places.
