A fine walnut and marquetry eight day longcase clock, early 18th century, with an associated dial bearing a signature D. Quare, London, the 28.5cm square brass dial with silvered chapter ring and seconds subsidiary dial, the rectangular door inlaid with urns, birds and figures amongst foliage all surrounding a central glass lenticle, with two brass weights and a pendulum, height 212cm, width 42cm.
