Obverse: left-facing bare head bust by Jean Baptiste Merlen with 'GEORGIUS IIII D: G: BRITANNIAR: REX F: D:' around, JEB initials below the truncation. Reverse: St George and the dragon design by Benedetto Pistrruci with the date (1823) below. Edge: raised lettering that reads 'DECUS ET TUTAMEN. ANNO REGNI IV.'. Weight: 15.84g. Diameter: 28mm. Grade: polished and probable ex-mount. Comes with clipping from a list or catalogue.
