Scottish military interest: A highlands officer's ceremonial dress dirk, 27cm fullered blade with scalloped edge, wooden basket knot carved handle, white metal set yellow paste stone to pommel; leather scabbard banded with engraved decorated Edinburgh silver, dated 1884, maker JR, complete with eating knife and fork in a tiered arrangement. Total length 44cm.
