A scarce CIJ of France tinplate Alfa Romeo P2 racing car, the large scale body finished in green with racing number 2 and four leaf clover motifs to bonnet sides, original black spoked wheels with brake drums, fitted with hand operated steering and brake lever, hand-painted side exhaust, complete with Alfa Romeo insignia to front of bonnet. 53.5cm long.

This car was manufactured between the years 1925 and 1935 and modelled after the original Grand Prix car, designed by Vittorio Jano which was considered one of the best Grand Prix cars of the 1920’s, winning it’s first race in 1924 and going on to win multiple races for the next six years; with the P2, Alfa Romeo was able to win the first ever World Championship title
