A Minton Majolica jardiniere. The deep blue ground applied with six straps with lion mask ring mounts each terminating in a paw foot, on a matched marbled pottery plinth, apparently unmarked, height 43cm. Internally it is a little dirty and stained, it has been drilled and bolted to the base. One of the paws of the jardiniere overhangs the base slightly. The base has a couple of small rim chips.
