A George III 18th century flame mahogany long case grandfather clock having moon face action with a maritime theme over two hand painted globes with 8 day chime on Roman numerals chapter ring, secondary face, with Breguet clock hands. The clock a central door flanked by Corinthian capitals over turned columns. Raised on bracket feet. The clock's hood having top brass globes with eagle shaped finials over turned columns. Lead weights. Measures approx. 231cm x 49cm x 23cm.
