Simpson William "The Seat of War in the East" Colnaghi & Co.,1855-56, First and Second Series, two volumes bound in one; hand-coloured lithographed title page for  First and Second Series and dedication page for 1st Series, 41 only hand-coloured lithographed plates, tissue guards (some with printed keys); descriptive text for both first and second series; contemporary green half morocco over green boards, folio (57 x 37cm.) descriptive text for both series. DISBOUND, many plates with torn and damaged edges, the framed prints in the two lots before were removed and framed by the vendor's father, bookplate inside front board, marbled endpapers, custom made oak box with key, 43 x 63 x 9 cm, by the original owner Col. the Hon .
