WW2 US McCord M1 Front Seam Helmet. The batch no is 100 G which makes this April 1942 which would have made is a fixed bale; however, they were always getting broken, so most likely repaired with swivel bales sometime during or after 1943. The helmet bares the insignia of a Captain in the 4th Infantry Division.
