A late 19c French mantel clock, the two train movement rack striking on a gong and having a 9cm diam. white enamel dial with Roman numerals and Arabic five minute figures. It is contained in a waisted mother of pearl rococo case with gilt brass mounts and feet and surmounted by a gilt brass handle. The clock stands 30cm tall overall.
The movement seems complete and clean. the dial, glass and bezel are undamaged and the mother of pearl is in good condition with only a couple of very small chips to the edges.
