19th century English porcelain dessert service with signature retailers mark to underside for John Allsup, 16 Pauls Church Yard, London, comprising of large centrepiece serving comport, pair of shaped serving dishes, pair of marquise shaped serving dishes, four matching shaped serving dishes and eighteen plates, decorated with panels of fallen fruit to the well on white opaque ground, gilded scrolls and vignettes to the blue cobalt border, comport 20cm high, 33cm wide, plates 23cm diameter (28)

Some old damage to a few pieces. Two plates are cracked and have signs of repair. Comport has stapled repair to underside and a large crack at base of foot. Usual rubbing and wear to gilded decoration.
