Oil on original canvas in honest untouched condition, canvas remains tight, stretcher marks showing particularly at the top and further light crease marks and fine craquelure running mostly horizontally across the work particularly in the upper half, painted to the oval, a number of scattered dirt marks so will benefit from a clean, one small retouched patched hole lower left in his jacket, no sign of any signature, housed in an unusual faux marble painted wood frame, no labels or inscriptions verso.
