Household Cavalry 1882/92 Trooper's Sword
32 inch, single edged blade with large fuller. Polished nickel plated steel, scroll pierced guard with crowned Life Guards letters. Plain pommel and backstrap. Buff leather guard interior and correct pattern of sword knot. Exterior of hilt with double broad arrow sold out of service mark. Contained in its polished steel scabbard with rear fixed hanging loop and side hanging rings.
