An unusual Regency Mahogany Secretaire cabinet in the manner of Gillows of Lancaster, the top drawer sliding on gilt brass mechanical stays to reveal an interior of drawers, pigeon holes, the fall with leathered writing surfaces concealing further storage below, the base fitted a pair of panel doors with arched panels, with bobbin and split reel mouldings throughout, over turned bun feet. 78 cm wide x 35 cm deep x 105 cm overall height, 70 cm knee room below fall.
