1851 The Great Exhibition, an exhibitor's medal of local interest, copper, by W. Wyon, bust of Prince Albert left, reverse: dove on a globe within open wreath, 'EXHIBITOR' on ribbon across, edge impressed, UNITED KINGDOM. CLASS 7. No. 199. (BHM 2463; Eimer 1459), VF. Class 7 - 'Civil Engineering, Architecture etc.' The recipient of the medal (catalogue entry 199), was Alexander Inglis, Park Street, South Shields, Durham for his 'Model of a ventilating machine.'
