* In fully restored condition. Stiffly relined, cleaned and revarnished. The paint surface has been flattened, thinned and somewhat abraded by the restoration process. Now with surface dirt and discoloured varnish in evidence. The odd very minor instance of craquelure. Several passages of retouching, overpainting and filling are evident under UV, most notably a patch under the gentleman's stock that is likely repair to an old damage.
