A YELLOW METAL OPAL RING, set with an oval cut white opal cabochon, measuring approximately length 11.3mm x width 7.3mm, showing flashes of all the colours of the spectrum, collet set in a rectangular mount, textured shoulders leading onto a polished band, unmarked, ring size P, approximate gross weight 5.3 grams (condition report: general light wear, metal has not been tested for fineness, crude attempts at claws visible on the mount)
