German Jaegar type sporting Rifle, octagonal barrel 33", back action lock engraved "R.Wolff in Hildesheim" with hunting dog and acanthus scrolling. Fine wood fullstock, steel ramrod, steel patchbox. Set triggers, ornate trigger guard. Chequered wrist, cheek rest. A good overall high quality piece. Calibre .450, small repair to forend, has become detached but will reglue - no losses. Fine example otherwise
