A Georgian naval dirk, broad SE blade 10¾” with etched, blued and gilt decoration, gilt copper mounted hilt, the broad flat crosspiece with shell finials, and with lion’s mask pommel, the chequered ivory grip of rectangular section. GC (some wear to gilt, some staining to blade) £500-600.
