A 1914-15 TRIO OF MEDALS AND A WWI QUEEN ALEXANDER IMPERIAL MILITARY NURSING RESERVE 2ND CLASS ROYAL RED CROSS MEDAL, along with a WWI silver hallmarked nurses medal, WWII defence medals and a 9ct gold I.D Bracelet, the medals consist of a 1914-15 star named to S Nurse I Wright Q.A.I.M.N.S.R, the BWM and victory medal are named to S. Nurse I Wright, the red cross 2nd class medal comes with its original ribbon but it is distressed, the nursing reserve medal is clearly hallmarked on the reverse, there is a ribbon bar included that shows the WWI trio and the red cross award, these medals were awarded to Miss Ivy Wright who served during WWI until she resigned her position when the war had ended, there is a copy of the record which are held at the National archives included, records show that Ivy carried on with her nursing career and in 1919 she was a sister working at Tidworth military hospital which is based on the grounds of salisbury plains in the South East Wiltshire, the award of her red cross award was in the London Gazette, Ivys I.D bracelet is twentieth century and yellow metal with a central circular shaped panel personally engraved I Wright C.Of.E S.N.R, the curb link chain has a spring clasp but it has broken away from the central panle at one end, the clasp is stamped 9c, the approximate length is 185mm and the approximate gross weight is 14.1grams, (condition report: overall fair condition with soft solder repairs present, some links have worn thin, some are bruised and some dents are present in keeping with its ages, wear and tear) also included is a modern French skiing badge, overall this groups is well worthy of more research
