Star Lot: An incredible genuine antique "Brilliant Sign" bar sign dating to before 1907. Reads "Wm. Younger & Co's. India Pale Ale." Produced by Brilliant Signs Ltd., London who devised the "brilliant letter" - comprising of a pressed copper sheet with a v-shaped cross section. It was then fixed behind painted glass by way of flanges with shellac, and covered with lead foil to seal it from the weather. A similar mirror for the same brand of IPA sold for $2999 at ebay.com
