Two printed paper fans by the French artist and illustrator THOR, who showed humour somewhere on each of his fans: the first shows a couple taking refreshment outside a café, the portly proprietor and a black cat standing outside in the sunshine, advertising on the verso “The Imperial Restaurant J.G. Pagès, 59, Rue Pigalle”; a second fan portrays two elegant socialites being ogled by a very much older gentleman, the fan a fee gift from “Sylva” who sells bonbons, dragées and chocolates, both printed by Chambrelent (2)
