A 17TH CENTURY TRANSITIONAL RAPIER. With a 78 cm slender, pointed, tapering blade with short double fuller and text marking for the maker to each side of the upper blade, with a shallow dished guard, shaped knuckle bow and wooden grip. 2nd quarter of the 17th century. 93 cm overall.

A nice blade in good condition. generally a good example. Some wear and possible repair to guard.
