A French Louis XV style kingwood, tulipwood and floral marquetry secretaire vitrine, late 19th century. The upper section with gallery rouge marble top above a pair of doors with shaped glazed panels. The base with sliding secretaire drawer opening to reveal a tooled leather surface and a bank of small drawers. Above a further two long drawers, all with gilt metal mounts throughout, and supported on shaped cabriole legs united by a bolection-moulded apron. 73 cm overall width x 35 cm overall depth x 154 cm overall height.
Condition report: A crack across the marble top and a resulting old repair. Some slight veneer chips to the edges of the veneer Both keys present No obvious signs of wood worm damage
