There is a small tear in the bottom left hand corner, just to the right of the signature that measures approx 2.5cm. There are areas of paint loss around all edges. All corners are rubbed with lines through the canvas, particularly through her dress and table, which appear to be scratch marks. Showing loss of paint. The top left hand corner of the canvas is rippled. Various other lines and dents though the canvas. Stretcher marks viable. Canvas is surface marked. Some discoloration and fading. The right hand side of the canvas shows a darker patch to the reverse.
