An Original Memorial card For Proinnsias Ó Fataig, died 1953 with original photographic mount. Ó Fataig joined the Volunteers and in the 1916 Rising served as Commanding Captain of The C Company of Brigade C in the Four Courts. He was the principal co-ordinator in the Ministry of Irish and the Ministry of Education and was heavily involved in the co-operation between them and Conradh na Gaeilge. He was a member of the Conference organised by the Teachers' Association between January 1921 and January 1922 to set out a new programme for schools.
