In the 1920s and 30s, their collections inspired the work of artists such as André Breton and Salvador Dali, see Dali's The Ship with Butterfly Sails, 1937. With over 190 years of history, the iconic house still operates today, continuing to promote nature and it's heritage through exhibitions, partnerships, and editorial projects.
