One arched half of the overthrow sawn off where originally forged to the square lantern, aperture; one of the two uprights with supporting limb near base also hacksawn off, tubular section detached. Lantern with later wire glass lights and sloping part of the top with drilled hole for supply of gas or electricity to the (missing) illuminant. Originally mounted about a lichgate
