An Art Deco opal platinum and diamond dress ring, the square opal measuring approximately 7mm x 7mm, surrounded by a twelve diamond halo, with pierced bridge, the shank unmarked but testing as platinum, ring size R, 4.1 grams

The opal is chipped and scratched. Two of the diamonds are chipped. The ring is worn on the back of the shank. There are no hallmarks and no provenance.
