CALENDAR MEDAL. 1754, by John Powell, 41mm, brass, Fine, this year not in Ackerman. John Powell was the only maker to straddle both the Julian and Gregorian calendars, striking single year calendar medals in an uninterrupted series from 1746 to 1782.
