Stroud cds (7 Dec) in red and Bombay arrival (9 Jan 1856) on reverse. Sent by Charles Marling to H.D. Cartwright, a director of the Bank of Bombay. From an old-time collection of British diplomatic covers. A neat and attractive tricolour franking. (S)
