A late 19c German two weight Vienna Regulator by Gustav Becker. The glazed walnut case has fluted columns flanking the door and a decorative crown surmounting the case which is moulded and has three turned finials. The base is gadrooned and has a central finial, and the veneers in the back of the case are book matched. The dial is two piece and of cream enamel with Roman numerals and Becker's trademark. The movement strikes on a gong and has deadbeat escapement. The pendulum rod is of timber and the weights are brass bound. 132cms h.
Case is good condition but bottom left finial is missing. dial and glasses are undamaged. Movement is complete but would benefit from cleaning.
