Advertising interest - An extremely rare George V silver & enamel ‘BRYANT & MAY’S’ match box trinket box, Henry Clifford Davis, Birmingham, 1927, the silver box realistically modelled as a box of matches (but larger), each side with yellow enamel, the sides with brown enamel to resemble striking paper, push opening from both sides, to reveal baize interior for storage, the inner box section engraved with retailer “OGDENS” HARROGATE & LONDON, 2 7/8 x 2in. (7.4 x 5cm.), heavy gauge, weight 6.70 tr.oz.
