WW1 British Army 1897 Pattern Officers Sword with shortened blade measuring 630mm in length, single edged, fullered with etched decoration, proof marked, no makers mark. Guard with GRV. Wire bound shagreen grip. Overall length 79cm. Complete with leather covered wooden scabbard. Plus a far Eastern sword with curved single edged blade 61cm in length. Wooden cord bound grip. WW1 Sword is suitable for spares or restoration. Leather to scabbard is loose and is poor condition with areas missing.
Far Eastern sword has nicks to edge of blade and some distortion to edge of blade.
