Snuff - an early 19th century novelty carved treen snuff box, as a hand taking a pinch of snuff, loose push-on cover, 12cm high, c.1820
It is unclear whether or not the lid is a replacement, however it does not close properly and it is currently stuck to the rest of the snuff box with blue tac. There is no damage apart from general wear due to age and usage.
