A mahogany cased Sextant by H. Hughes & Son Ltd, early 20th century, no. 13442, signed H. Hughes & Son Ltd., 59 Fenchurch Street, London, with a blackened brass frame, the mahogany case with engraved brass plaque to lid and recessed brass carrying handle, containing accessories and a Certificate of Examination dated February 1921 inside the lid. Some cleaning needed, some surface wear, overall good.
