A NORWEGIAN SILVER BEAKER
assay master Christian Hoff, Bergen 1843, of tapering form with an everted rim foot, with bands of wrigglework and an applied reeded girdle with three loops suspending two convex roundels (one lacking), further applied below with a corded girdle. 12.5cm high, 5.9 troy ounces
The base is slightly misshapen, and there is the usual age-related surface wear. In otherwise good condition.
