A VINTAGE CARVED WALL-MOUNTED PLAQUE, featuring three Toledo engraved swords, with silver finish, cylindrical shaped grips with shaped pommels, all with Gothic-style mesh overlay. The three swords read ‘Gran-Capitan’; ‘Reina del Cid’; ‘Alfonso X’. The carved wooden plaque has a red felt backing and is engraved with the coat of arms of the city of Toledo; crowned double-headed eagle, shield with divided field, lions rampant and castle turret. Dimensions: 104cm high x 54cm wide approx.
