Railway. Overseas traction - TURKEY. A collection of approx. 500 x 35mm colour slides on Kodak film stock. The slides are stored in 3 x Hanimex Rondex 120 carousels and 2 plastic slide cassette boxes. A good collection of slides taken in 1983 in Turkey from the "SKYLINER 1" rail tour. As well as photos of the rail tour train there are plenty of other locos on freight and passenger duty seen on the tour. Includes slides of steam, diesel and electric locomotives, photos from the train, run pasts, stations, city trolley buses and railway scenes. Note there are a few non-railway scenes included. Locations noted: Yedikiule Works, Istanbul, Byirkoy, Tavsanli, Doger, Karabuk mpd, Karabuk Steelworks, Irmak Yard, Ankara, Dinar mpd, Burdur mpd, Egridir Station and Viaduct and others.
