Territorial Force Efficiency Medal GVR named to 366092 Private F G B Jones RAMC. Frederick George Brown Jones was born in Prestatyn, Clwyd on 12 December 1892 and appears to have joined the RAMC, Territorial Force, in 1908 when he would have been just 15 years old. He served later during the First World War, disembarking at Gallipoli on 19 July 1915, and was entitled to the 1914/15 Star,
British War Medal and Victory Medal. He was awarded the TFEM in 1919. He died on 30 April 1980, aged 87 years. With copies of his Medal Index Card and extracts from medal rolls showing his entitlement to WW1 medals.
