Colt Navy Revolver, an extremely interesting and early Colt Model 1851, 6 shot, Serial No 18567, matching on ALL parts, dates it to 1852, 2nd year of manufacture. Barrel 7.5", top flat with "Address Saml Colt New York City" Rocky Mountain foresight. Action in GWO. This piece has seen heavy usage from 1852 to 1865 or later. Muzzle shows heavy holster wear, consistent with much use. One piece original walnut grips, smooth & hand worn but no chips or damage. Brass furniture with traces of nickel. Dark patina overall, frame with "Colts Patent". In original untouched condition. No licence required
